How I Turned My Passion Into Purpose (And Found a New One Along the Way)
We all start with a passion for something. For me, it was helping people.
In 2019, fresh out of high school, I started working at the same small, local gym where I had been training for less than a year. It wasn’t just a gym—it was a tight-knit community where people showed up for results and for each other. I loved it more than anything and knew I wanted to be a bigger part of it.
It didn’t take long before I went from mopping floors to coaching classes. That’s where I found my true passion—helping people grow, evolve, and become better versions of themselves. Over the next few years, I stepped into a head coach role, started personal training on the side, and dedicated myself to learning everything I could about health and fitness.
But anyone who’s tried to make a full-time living as a personal trainer knows how tough it can be. At 24 years old, I was making more money than ever before—just not quite enough to move out of my parents’ house. That reality sparked a new fire in me: figuring out what it actually takes to build a business in this space.
So I started learning.
After work, I’d stay up late studying lead generation, business systems, offer creation, and how to scale service-based businesses. I consumed everything I could. Then one day, I asked the gym owner a simple question:
“Can I run paid ads for your gym?”
To my surprise, he said yes—even though he already had a marketing agency managing his digital ads. That trust meant everything to me. I got to work.
For two weeks, I ran paid Meta ads for the gym. What I didn’t mention is—I used my own money. I was frugal, so I had some savings, and I wanted to raise the stakes. I invested $100 a day into those ads. Every single dollar came from my pocket.
And it worked.
With limited knowledge, experience, and prep time, my campaigns still produced results. I booked consultations almost daily and closed most of those sales meetings. Were they perfect campaigns? Not even close. Looking back, I made plenty of mistakes. But they paid off—and more importantly, I learned what actually works.
That’s when I fell in love with digital marketing.
Client acquisition has always fascinated me, but this was the moment I realized: this is what I want to do. Today, I’ve combined my two biggest passions—client acquisition and health & wellness—to help service-based businesses grow.
I help coaches, gyms, and wellness pros skip the years of trial and error it takes to figure out how to consistently get clients. Because the truth is, most of us got into this industry for the same reason—we wanted to help people feel the same transformation we once experienced. But the hardest part isn’t coaching or training…
It’s getting people to believe you can actually help them.
That’s where I come in. I help deliver your message in a way that connects, converts, and brings in the people you’re meant to serve.
